End of Support for Windows 11 24H2Windows 11 24H2, released on October 1, 2024, will have its support terminated on October 4, 2026. Following this date, users will no longer receive security updates or bug fixes for this version, necessitating an upgrade to Windows 11 25H2. Microsoft has confirmed that it will begin force-upgrading users from version 24H2 to 25H2 in the near future.
Windows 11 SE and 23H2 SupportAdditionally, Windows 11 SE, designed for educational purposes, will also stop receiving updates by October 2026, marking the end of its lifespan. For those still using Windows 11 23H2 Enterprise, Education, and IoT editions, support will conclude on November 10, 2026.
Office 2021 Support EndsIn a similar vein, support for Office 2021 will end on October 13, 2026, five years post-launch. Users will have the option to transition to Office 2024 or subscribe to Microsoft 365 after this date, as Office 2021 will no longer receive updates or support.
